How Tea Amantes – Community Arts Began
In May 2026, flooding affected several rooms at Tea Amantes, leading to the closure of its kitchen. This unexpected event marked the beginning of a new chapter in our story.
In July 2026, we made the decision to move away from hospitality and continue focusing on what had always been at the heart of Tea Amantes – art, culture and community.
This is how Tea Amantes – Community Arts was born: an initiative dedicated to promoting art, literature and cultural heritage, supporting local artists, and bringing together people from different backgrounds across Blackpool and beyond.
Our direction has changed, but our vision remains the same – creating a space where culture brings people together.
