Photowalk Exhibition: “A Year on the Streets – Opening Night”

02.03.2026 – 05.04.2026

Join us for the opening night of “A Year on the Streets” on Monday, 2nd March at 6:30 pm at Tea Amantes. The evening will last approximately two hours and promises to be a celebration not only of photography, but of community, creativity, and connection.

This exhibition is the result of a year-long journey by participants of the monthly photography workshops hosted at Tea Amantes and led by Stan Crook, Lee Cobbs, and Kenny McRea. Each month, the group gathered for guided photo walks through Blackpool, capturing fleeting moments, quiet details, shifting light, and the many untold stories found on the streets.

The walks were open to everyone — regardless of experience or equipment. Whether using a professional camera, film, or a mobile phone, what mattered most was support, shared learning, networking, and immersing together in the art of street photography.

During the opening evening you will:
• View the powerful results of this year-long creative journey;
• Meet the photographers behind the images;
• Talk with the workshop leaders;
• Experience the energy of a growing creative community.

Tea Amantes has hosted many photography exhibitions over the years, and this marks the second exhibition by this particular group, formed through the regular monthly workshops — and certainly not the last.

Join us for the opening night, and then come along to a future photo walk. Perhaps next year, it will be your work on the wall.

We look forward to seeing you on 2nd March at 6:30 pm at Tea Amantes.
