DZIADY – THE POLISH ANSWER TO HALLOWEEN
Not that scary… even on Friday the 13th!
Did you know that Poland has its own ancient traditions of remembering the dead and connecting with the spirits of the past?
This November, Blackpool Polish Community invites you to discover DZIADY – a mysterious and fascinating masterpiece by Adam Mickiewicz, one of Poland’s greatest poets.
Join us for a special community reading of Dziady, inspired by Slavic beliefs and organised as part of our celebrations of the 15th edition of Poland’s National Reading.
Expect an evening filled with mystery, literature, Polish folklore and a touch of Friday the 13th magic.
Whether you’re Polish, British or simply curious about different cultures, you’re warmly invited to join us.
