“Seaside Shuffle” – Book Club & Local Writers Anthology
at Tea Amantes – Tearoom & Gallery
We’re excited to invite local writers and poets to take part in a new creative project celebrating the stories of Blackpool and the surrounding area.
Live Event – late 2025:
A special evening will be organised at Tea Amantes, where authors will have 5–10 minutes to present an excerpt of their work to an audience.
Printed Anthology:
Selected submissions will be featured in a printed collection titled Seaside Shuffle.
Submission Guidelines:
– Short stories, poems, or memoirs (up to 1000 words);
– Submit via email: teaamantes@gmail.com
– Please include in the subject line: “Seaside Shuffle” – Book Club & Local Writers Anthology;
– Deadline: 30 September 2025.
If there’s enough interest, we hope to continue with a monthly book club, spotlighting original writing and local voices.
We’re especially keen to collaborate with:
– Local writers;
– Poetry and book club organisers;
– Aspiring authors with stories to share.
